welcome to perfectly imperfect — a newsletter alternative to the blog i’ve written for well over a decade (almost makes perfect).

if you’ve come from instagram, then you probably know me sorta well already, but if not, hi! i’m molly madfis and i’m so glad you’re here. i started my DIY blog back in the days of DIY blogs while bored at my day job in tv.

since then, i got married and we’ve had two kids. i don’t do as many DIYs these days but i also have documented the process of fixing up our first house in los angeles, beautiful product recs, and just cute doable ways to make ordinary days feel more special. and i will have to write about movies too, because i like my movies!

right now we’re in the process of packing up our entire lives and moving away from everything we know in california on a whim to give our kids a more magical childhood in new england, where i can live out my slow quiet coastal grandma life dreams.
